I am currently a series editor in two projects. Click on the links below to find out more about the books in the series, and on how to submit manuscripts. These two current series are soliciting manuscripts.
Critical Mexican Studies at Vanderbilt University Press.
Critical Mexican Studies is a humanities-based academic monograph series devoted to the study of Mexico. The series is a space for innovative works in the humanities that focus on theoretical analysis, transdisciplinary interventions, and original conceptual framing. The goal of the series is to publish original books by established and new authors, or to translate major works in the field, focused on using Mexico as a case study and departing point for the discussion of theoretical questions of interest within and beyond the fields of Latin American Studies.
For more information, including the list of available titles, and submission instructions, visit the series homepage. The acquisitions editor at Vanderbilt is Zachary Gresham.
SUNY Series in Latin American Cinema. Co-edited with Leslie Marsh.
This series welcomes submissions of monographs dedicated to the study of Latin American cinema. We seek both works that focus on regional clusters (such as the Andean region, the Southern Cone, Central America, or the Spanish Caribbean) and also on the focused analysis of the national and sub-national film traditions of the region. The series will publish works on any part of the historical arc of Latin American cinema, from its earliest iterations to contemporary production.
